The CHaD Gala has been a much-anticipated event at the Quechee Club since its inception in 2003. Taking over much of the Clubhouse, the evening includes music and dancing, an elegant dinner, and both Live and Silent Auction components. Each year, the Gala’s creative and extremely dedicated cast of volunteers puts together a themed evening to be remembered and never misses the mark in conveying the importance of the fundraising message—supporting the kids at Dartmouth Health Children’s. This year’s theme will evoke the magic of Hawaii—so check out your closets for brightly colored shirts and flowing muumuus! It will be a not-to-be-missed event!

The CHaD Gala, along with our annual CHaD Classic Golf Tournament, supports the Ken & Vickie French Child Advocacy and Protection Program at Dartmouth Health Children’s in neighboring Hanover, New Hampshire. The CAPP Program is a multidisciplinary program created to help evaluate and treat suspected victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and/or neglect in both New Hampshire and Vermont. Only 10% of CAPP’s service costs are covered by health insurers. This means that CAPP relies heavily on the generosity of donors like you, whose gifts provide approximately 90% of its budget. By participating in the Classic or the Gala, or by sponsoring one of these events, you are helping to provide the best possible environment for children to heal and recover.
